Quick Start

Install Speak and run your first dictation session with the default workflow.

1. Install

1. Download the latest Speak.dmg from Releases.
2. Drag Speak into your Applications folder.
3. If macOS blocks launch, open System Settings > Privacy & Security, then click Open Anyway for Speak.

2. Complete onboarding

1. Enable Microphone.
2. Enable Speech Recognition.
3. Enable Accessibility so Speak can paste text into other apps.

3. Dictate text

1. Focus any text field.
2. Hold fn to start dictation.
3. Release fn to confirm and paste.
